I had a pleasant stay for 4 nights in a double room with courtyard view. The staff were friendly and attentive. the lack of a lift made navigating the stairs with luggage a bit challenging, and breakfast being in a separate building was inconvenient, especially in poor weather.

Charming stay with lovely surroundings
We had a delightful experience at this hotel, enjoying the historic charm and the tranquil atmosphere just a short walk from major attractions. The room was spacious and beautifully maintained, with luxurious Molton Brown toiletries adding a nice touch to our stay. The breakfast in the Great Hall was a unique treat! I wish there were more dining options available on-site.

Good location and comfy beds
We stayed for 3 nights and loved the location! Walked to museums and even to Sadler Wells Theatre. The beds were super comfy. Just wish there was better wifi in our room because it was pretty spotty. The little bar by the lounge was a nice spot to unwind after a busy day.

This spot is a commendable fit for a temporary stay in London with great value-to-price ratio. The clean and delightful atmosphere, along with the proximity to Russell Square tube station, made my trips easy. Avoid the top floor if possible, as the stairs are a bit much after a long day.
